World Archaeology at the Pitt Rivers Museum

Muzej Pit Riversa je muzej Oksfordskog univerziteta posvećen arheologiji i antropologiji. Muzej je osnovan 1884. godine kada je general Ogastas Pitt-Rivers (1827-1900) univerzitetu donirao svoju kolekciju od preko 22 hiljade predmeta. Ove predmete general Pitt Rivers sakupljao je širom sveta u prethodnih 30 godina (1851-1880). U prvoj polovini 20. veka zbirka ubrzano raste a danas se u muzeju nalazi više od pola miliona artefakata, fotografija i rukopisa.
